Journey 12: Is the Risk Worth it?

Journey 12

Risk

Risk is everywhere and everything is risky. Even
sleeping in your own bed is still risky. It may be low
risk or high risk. However, it is not the risk itself, but
how we deal with it that is more important.
  • 1st Step: Check if the risk is dangerous

  1. Use your knowledge and your brain to get the answer
  2. Use your feeling. Does it feel right?
  • 2nd Step: Check if it is worth the risk

  1. Give a score of the good and the bad from 1
    to 100
  2. Find out the result from the differencebetween the good and the bad scores. If the good is more than the bad, it is worth taking
    the risk.

Journey 11: Make it a Habit

Habit

The technique that always works for me is to set the
time for doing the boring jobs with an alarm clock.
This method is like playing a game with myself and
also it is fun to play. Some jobs can be done in less
than 10 minutes but it is not easy to start then.
Here is the simple technique:

  • Make it a habit

  • Do only one thing for one target

  • Then, momentum will keep the wheel moving.
The wheel will move along the way and arrive at
our target.

Journey 10: Targets

Journey 10

Targets

It does not matter what the target is, but if it is big,
huge and high value, this target is attractive. You
want to create and make it happen.

  • Set big, giant targets with high return. This will
make you feel excited and want to get up every
morning.

  • Choose specific targets, only the ones you really
want to do.

  • Check if the target belongs to you only, that it is
for yourself only and only you will work on it.

  • Break this big target into many small pieces,
small enough for you to be able to start working
on within 24 hours.
